Thank you for visiting our new website. Please excuse typos and errors which should be corrected after my amazing wife has had a chance to review it. It is also a work in progress, so check back for new photos etc.
Fiber Termination
We have been working with fiber optic cabling since 1995. In that time we have perfected the installation of hand polished connectors such as Hot Melt, Epoxy Cured, Amp Crimp, UV Cured and Anaerobic Cure. More recently we have learned the world of Pre-Terminated Crimp on connectors and their benefits and downfalls. Fortunately customers are now learning the benefits of Factory Terminated Pigtails. Included in this last group are the new Factory Terminated Splice-On Connectors (SOC) that are by design a miniature pigtail with the splice concealed inside the connector boot. These provide a very clean installation (no splice trays needed) and excellent final test results. Check out the slideshow for some SOC installations and more.
Fiber Splicing
We have used most of the splicing equipment provided by the major manufacturers but prefer AFL/Fijikura fusion splicers for their quality and durability.
Testing and Troubleshooting
We recently updated all of our test gear to what we believe to be the best in the market, manufactured by EXFO.
